Ive been looking back at the last six chapters of Helen, mainly chapters 3 and 4. Im considering moving chapter 4 to later in the story, mainly because it seems like a stretch for both siblings to be having the same dream flashback on the same night, even considering the circumstances. Both chapters will stay in the story, and chapter 3 will definitely stay put, but chapter 4 will likely get moved back to later in the book, probably a few years from now, and likely not a dream but just some quiet contemplation on Xanders part after a rough night.
Im having more trouble with how to deal with chapter 7. I could either have Helen and Xander talk about Marcos proposal (and likely argue about it), or I could put Helen in school again to help establish that she truly is the "saint" that Xander mentions her to be in chapter 5 (or illustrate her breakdown, or perhaps both). The former would make the chapter mostly dialogue, and I cant figure out yet how to make that part a bit more interesting and still make sense. The latter would make about a four-day skip in the timeline, which wouldnt be that big of a deal if it didnt skip over the night that Marco expects an answer. Im a bit nervous about skipping over that part of the timeline, even if Xanders answer is (hopefully!) fairly obvious.
And, of course, I need to think of a title for this story. This was originally intended to develop Helens character more than anything else, but thats not to be. I cant exactly skip over Xanders and Marcos roles in this life, so Helen and Helen of Philadelphia, two titles I had originally considered, are now out.
Ahh. Ill think of something.

I had a dream last night, I was eating a ten pound marshmallow. I woke up this morning and the pillow was gone.
